Derrick’s Well Drilling & Pump Services currently has well drilling career opportunities available due to the fact that the County of Hawaii ranks second in the United States with the largest amount of area without access to county water service. That’s a lot of homeowners and businesses that need our service!
The well drilling industry has been providing residential and commercial clients with access to water for almost a century. Thanks to modern advancements, water from deep underground can now be brought to severely dry lands. Farmers are able to mass-produce food to feed the world, and now homeowners can have access to potable water when they are too just far away from the city.
There will be opportunities to learn multiple positions and functions within our team as well as the satisfaction in knowing that you are making a difference. Each new employee will be paired with one of our experienced technicians to all aspects of the job.

We believe that attitude is more important than experience and we are willing to train the right person. Positions are available for drillers and pump technicians. A CDL license is a plus, but not required. We are a drug-free work environment. You will also have the opportunity to travel interisland as we service Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island.
